Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave - just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and give his life as a ransom for many." The New Hope Baptist Church exists to be God's agent of reconciliation. We do this by proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ, healing the broken hearted and setting the captives free (Luke 4:18). This is obtained through our Worship and Outreach ministries.

We welcome all who have the zeal to serve the Lord, Jesus. We make efforts to encourage corporate worship, as well as spiritual fellowship. We try to nurture believers in the faith with a loving environment. We seek to promote our fellowship by encouraging in each member a deep personal faith, by providing a broad Christian educational program for all ages and offering a spiritual Music Ministry.

Givelify

New Hope has a new application so that you can give your Tithes, Offerings and other contributions to the church electonically. This application is through the App Store on your phone. (Apple or Android phones) Listed below are the instructions on how to use this new application. So if you don't have any cash, checks, or if you are away and want to pay your tithes, here is what you can do:

1) Download the Givelify App through the App store on your phone.

2) Sign up and create a Username and a Password. (You can use your Facebook or Email account as a sign in.)

3) Find New Hope Baptist Church, 45 Hampton St. Metuchen it will be listed under Worship Churches.

4) Tap the "To Give" tab.

5) It will have all the sections just like our Giving envelope. You can divide your money between the categories or give the whole amount to Tithes or Offering. If you have another amount to give, tap Other and enter that amount.

6) Once you select where you want the funds to go, tap "Tap Give Now", it will say your giving was successful and that you can see your donation details.
